In my previous message, the name of Charles son should have been Cebron, not Lebron. Also, I did some more searching in my records.Elizabeth and her second husband moved to Blount County, Alabama by 1850.House #295, Family #296 shows the following:
James Lashere34born SC
Elizabeth Lashereage 44born SC
Cebouin Lashereage 18born SC
Nancy Lashereage 20born SC
John Lashereage 16born SC
George Lashereage 13Born SC
Mary Lashereage 10born SC
EllenLashereage 8born SC
As stated in the previous message, these children should have been listed as Dagnal's.
Charles H. Dagnals will lists the following heirs:wife: Elizabeth, sons:George W., John, Cebron, and daughters: Ellinor, Mary, Martha.Sorry I don't have the box and package numbers for the probate record.
One other item you might want to check into.Charles H. Dagnal, Cebron's father, was a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church and was disciplined by the church body if memory serves me right. He was accused of stealing an pocket knife, in Augusta, Georgia I believe.Copies of the church records are held by the Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and make interesting reading.I believe a brother of Charles was asked by the church members to investigate the matter and to bring a report to the members. If you are interested in this let me know and I will supply an address for the Library where the records are held.
