thanks so much.That gives me another name on the Dodson side to work with.I am trying to connect my John Dotson with a brother in his family line in hopes of proving who his father was.I belive his father to be William Dotson as another researcher has put a John with this William at the right date.But another reseacher says that John died in Texas in 1910 and my John was alive in Bledsoe Co. Tn. in 1910.I also remember my Granddad telling me his Grand dad was named Noah but he could have went by a middle name.
My Dotson line as I know for sure is
Greatgrant parents-John Dodson/Dotson married Selina Johnson-abt.1880
Grandparents- Eules Dotson married Nellie Jernigan
he was married 5 times she was wife # 3.-abt.1909
My Parents-Walter Dotson Married Helen Whitley-1943
