Hello Barbara,
My mother, Louetta Daggett Moore, went home to be with the
Lord November 13,2008. She was the youngest child of Janie
and Lee Daggett from Bledsoe, Tenn. My Sister Alice Ward,
and my cousin Willene --her Dad was Dewey Daggett and my
cousin Devota--her mother was Lillie Daggett Johnson--and a granddaughter of Bessie Daggett Davis all have homes on the old homestead of Lee and Janie Daggett in Bledsoe Tn.on
Brockdell moutain. My grandfather, Lee Daggett was the preacher for OLD CUMBERLAND,THE BAPTIST CHURCH. It was great to learn that we are somehow related and maybe we can
help each other. The Dodson/Daggett family reunion was august 1, 2009.It is held at the old school house every year--the first saturday in august. Lunch at about 1 oclock. They have the oldtime, grave decorations before they come to the school house. The cemetary name is Cagle and most of grandpa and grandma's family are there.
