Hi,
I'm searching for any descendents or any information on the descendents of Lester R. and Jewel (McWHIRTER) DAGGETT. I'm actually working on the McWHIRTER Family and trying to find all of the descendents. This is what I have on this DAGGETT family:
Lester R. DAGGETT, born 1898/99, Marion County, Illinois, son of Oren Henry and Nancy A. (HENSEN) DAGGETT. I don't know when Lester died, or where. Oren died in 1938 and Nancy in 1942, both in Marion County, Illinois.
Lester married Jewell McWHIRTER 1921/22. She was born Jul 1899, Macon County, Tennessee, daughter of Hardy Newton and Laura (___?___) McWHIRTER. She died Jun 1984. Last place of residence was Odin, Marion County, Illinois.
On 20 Jan 1920, the census shows Lester DAGGETT age 21, living on Virginia Avenue in Sandoval, Marion County, Illinois with his parents, Henry (61) and Nancy (50) DAGGETT. Also living with them were Lewis age 19; Glen age 15; and Ivan age 11. Lester worked in the Oil Field. Henry worked for the railroad.
On 28 Apr 1930, the census shows Lester (31) and Jewell (31) DAGGETT living at 586 South High Street in Denver, Colorado.With them was their son, David age 1. Also with them was Jewell's widowed brother-in-law, Haywood WIX age 40. Lester owned his home, which was valued at $4,500.00. They also owned a radio. Lester and Haywood were both iron workers.
Lester served in the United States Military during World War 1.
Son of and Lester R. and Jewell (McWHIRTER) DAGGETT:
1. David DAGGETT, born 26 Apr 1929, Colorado. He died Jan 1989. Last place of residence was Littleton, Arapahoe County, Colorado.

I don't know if David married and had a family.
