I am decended from Alanson Daggett (ggg gf) of Michigan. My great grandfather James moved his family to Canada sometime in the early 1900's.

I always thought (due to family history) that it was a direct move from Michigan to Canada. However I have very recently learned from another branch of the Canadian Daggetts, that James youngest son Jean Francis Eugene Daggett (known as Frank) was born April 8, 1900 in Akeley, Hubbard Co. Minnesota. This was a big surprise to me.

I thought perhaps that James went to Akeley because other family members lived there, but I couldn't find any.

Is it possible that James is related to Ann Elizabeth Daggett? If so, perhaps we could both find our ancestry as I have all 3 Daggett books.

Let me know any other info you have regarding your family in Hubbard Co., especially Akeley and Ill see what I can find
