Quote from the “Supplement”
"TRUMAN DAGGETT (1)
we first find this Truman Daggett in the 1850 Census of Madison Co. I11. (Just a few houses from Daniel and Amanda Daggett.) Daniel was the 4th son of James (#936) and born in Vt. However, James #936, left Vt. about 1812 or so and went to Onondaga Co., N. Y. (Daniel also went to the same county). James and James Jr. both had large families in the census records of 18201830 and 1840 in Onondaga Co., N. Y. But of course, the children born in Onondaga Co. are not listed. (Probably due to the fact that Onondaga Co. closed their Town Clerks Records to the general public information even if available is very hard to get in that county.
We feel that Truman may have been one of the later children of James Daggett #936 but so far have been unable to prove it."
I am not affiliated with this branch … yet unless the link to James is proven… I will work up what I have (not much, Truman 1815, through William George 1946) and send it to you ASAP. My arm is in a sling now and typing with my left hand is a B*tch.
