Searching for ancesters of my grandmother Mary Elizabeth Campton b. Hillsboro, Ohio June 12, 1879. She married Virgil Raymond Thoms. Her parents were John Higgins Campton and Ann Elizabeth Daggett b. 1850 in Hillsboro, Ohio. Ann Elizabeths' parents were George Washington Daggett and Elizabeth West. Mary Elizabeth Campton had 3 older sisters Lily, Rachel and Maude. The family(including Paternal grandmother moved to Hubbard Co. Minn. and had 3 more children John, Daisy, and Scott. Ann Elizabth Daggett died giving birth to Scott. At that point John Higgins Campton abandoned the younger children and moved to Kansas. He remarried then moved to Idaho and had another son named Joe. I would like to know from which Daggett line my grandmother descends. Any help appreciated.
