ANY DAGGETT'S FROM NEW VINEYARD, MAINE?

I HAVE BOTH DAGGETT PUBLICATIONS:JOHN DOGGETT-DAGGETT OF MARTHA'S VINEYARD and
A HISTORY OF THE DOGGETT-DAGGETT FAMILY. My Daggett line moves to Maine with NATHAN DAGGETT b.1750 son of SETH, SON OF SAMUEL, THOMAS, THOMAS, JOHN DOGGETT B. 1626, JOHN DOGGETT b. 1626 Boxford, Suffolk, England,WILLIAM DOGGETT b. 1557, BOXFORD, SUFFOLK, ENGLAND.---The family crest shows two greyhounds combative and the Doggett (Duchet) name is found in records dating back to the Norman Conquest 1131 AD, also found earlier in 1100 AD. It is deduced that "the orthography of the name inclines us to accept this as most probably the original name". My DAGGETT line moved from Maine to WISCONSIN,short stay in MISSOURI,to IOWA, IDAHO,and finally WASHINGTON STATE. Comments or questions appreciated. JERRY WILLIAM DAGGETT
