In Sandra Huemann-Kelly’s Friedens UCC [Rockingham Co, VA] Cemetery Transcriptions,
stone #449 DAGG(?) Elizabeth, born Aug. 16, 1795 wife of __?__ D__?__ (Listed under DAGG due to proximity to other Dagg stone, #450.
stone #450 DAGG, Samuel T., died Oct 29, 1898, aged 60 yrs.
These people are NOT related to me, but they were living next to my 2GGF in 1850 Census. I’m pretty sure I figured out more about them, but it appears to be a dead end line. I’m posting this just in case someone might want it. Apparently Robert Samuel DAGG of Loudoun Co, VA married Sarah DAVIS and had at least 2 children, one of whom Samuel D. DAGG married Elizabeth DUTRIE [born MD] 10 April 1817 in Loudoun Co. Their son Samuel Peyton DAGG was born c.1818-1819, and Samuel D. DAGG dies Oct 1821 in Loudoun Co. The 1850 Census finds these DAGGs living in the Mill Creek / Good’s Mill area of Rockingham Co, VA where Samuel Peyton is a tailor; they are both still alive in the 1880 Census, Samuel Peyton apparently having never married. I’m guessing that Samuel’s Friedens stone should say aged 80 years.
