I am looking for the Daffurn, Daffron or Daffern family. The ancestor I have the most information on is Emily Maria Daffern who married William David Link of Paris, Ontario 1871. They moved to Beaver Mines Alberta where her husband worked at putting the raiload through the Canadian Rockies. Her death certificate lists her as being born in England. If the math is correct then she was born circa 1848 to William Daffurn and Maria Smith.I know nothing else about the family. I was told that there are relatives in the USA in the south, with nothing to back it up. Emily Maria died in Pincher Creek, Alberta December 6, 1913. Can you help me out?
