I am trying to trace my Daffron family line. My great-grandmother was Belle Zora Daffron, who is listed in the 1880 census records in Tunica MS as the daughter (born in Tennessee) of Mattie Daffron, widow. Belle Zora D. married Alonzo Turpin, who was born in Kentucky and acquired a farm in Marion County Arkansas, where they raised two children. Belle Zora died in Memphis in 1932. If anyone has information on a Mattie Daffron in Tennessee or Mississippi, I would appreciate hearing from you.
