Hi Mac,
I spoke to the great, great, grandson of William Daffron. His name is Andrew Daffron and you can find him in the Richmond, Virginia directory. I'm sure he would be happy to speak with you as he has been doing genealogy research himself. This is his relative because we obtained a newspaper clipping that mentioned Adnrew Daffron as being William Daffrons son going into the furniture business like his father. And I talked to Andrew Daffron III. I hope this helps.
