He was born 1837 in Dubois County, Indiana. I have seen some speculation that his father's name might have been John S. (Scarlett) Daffron, but no proof yet. Also, haven't seen the parents of John S. Scarlett. Anthony and his wife, Rebecca Patterson, had at least four children. They were: Emily, William, Susan, and James. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
