I am researching the descendants of Benjamin Daffin, a cutler, from Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Benjamin had at least 7 sons. His 7th son was my ggggrandfather, Henry Daffin. Henry was married to Ann Boyd and they emigrated to the US sometime between the birth of their son Thomas in 1833 and the birth of their son William in 1844 because Thomas was born in England and William was born in the US. I believe that some of Henry's siblings may have also emigrated to the US before he did. I know of 2 other sons of Benjamin and Mary, Joseph born in 1799 and George born in 1812 and possibly Benjamin born about 1802. Benjamin was married to a Mary Fisher in Philadelphia in 1824. Benjamin and his family were living in Baltimore by 1850. I would love to correspond and share research with anyone who may be researching this family.
