Dear Diana

I was very excited to get your email on this neglected branch of my family, so I got my paperwork out. It turns out that I used to think that Mary was the daughter of Joseph Daffern and Hannah Leech and then I found Mary on the 1851 census, and it said she was 44! She was the second wife of John Mottram and was 42 when she got married. So I need to find a baptism in around 1807 in Nuneaton. The census DOES say she was born in Nuneaton, and the age is confirmed again on the 1861 census (both in Ansley)
I dont suppose you happen to have any Mary Dafferns of 1807 in Nuneaton up your sleeve do you?
Thank you so much for taking the time to write, I really should have done my homework BEFORE I posted, but I was basically blitzing the site with all my neglected lines.
Regards
Louise
