Erasmus, my great-uncle, disappeared about 1890 from West Virginia, after dispute with sheriff. Family tradition that he "went to Colorado," but no records of him there. Recently, have a clue, in an old picture, that he went, instead, to Nebraska, probably in the Omaha area. Anybody any further information?
