I also have a dattisman in my lineage. Her name was Annie Dattisman, born 10/29/1865 and died 1/10/1910. As far as I know, she was from the Dover area of York Co. PA. She was married to my great-grandfather, Daniel Brinton Sheffer, born 2/10/1865, and died 4/25/1940. He was also from the Dover area of York Co. PA, and they are buried in Dover, PA. The only other Dattisman's that I have seen in cemetaries in York Co. PA are in Quickel's Lutheran Church cemetary, NE of Dover. Any information about the York Co. PA Dattisman's would be appreciated.
