This is my cousin. I remember his father, Oliver, more than him. John went to Australia when I was just a boy. Oliver was my fathers older brother. He was a butcher by trade, always known as 'Twist' Dade. He had a slaughter house, and lived , at Bunwell Hill. He died somewhere about 1960, of smoking related cancer. I believe he is buried at Carleton Rode Chapel, together with his wife and a daughter named Helen. There was another daughter called Priscilla, but I know nothing of her whereabouts, nor am I aware of what became of John. I never heard of him returning to the UK.
