My Gx4 grandmother was Caroline Dade. She was christened on 20 January 1833 at Holy Trinity Clapham, Surrey, daughter of Daniel Dade and Elizabeth [?]. She married William Whitman on 30 November 1852 at Battersea, Surrey. From there on I only have information on the Whitmans and I would be grateful to hear from anyone who thinks they might be able to link up with Daniel Dade. As with most London families, the suspicion must be that they originated from another part of the country..... but I don't know where. I would also be interested to hear about the dade name/family generally as it is unusual. Thanks, Simon
