According to the administration of Thomas Dacus estate John Phillips was an heir who signed for receipt of $2201.46 as his share of the estate on April 28, 1840.
Is anyone researching this Dacus family of Newton Co. GA? What was John Phillips' relationship? Son-in-law, perhaps? I would like to share information with anyone who may have knowledge of the kinship of these two men?
