Lemuel W. Dacus, born 1816 in Vic Greenville, SC. Lemuel W. died in Dacus Cemetery, Choctaw co., MS on Dec 28, 1891, he was 75.
Migarated to Choctaw Co., MS Circa 1830, 1850 Choctaw Co. census.
about 1835 when Lemuel W. was 19, he married Margaret M. Sutton, born in 1819 in SC. Margaret M died in Milligan Springs, Montgomery Co., MS in 1892, she was 73.
