DEATH: Susan Lamb Griffith states in her
Cemetery Index Addendum to the Greene Co.
Arkansas Historical and Genealogical Society in
late 1990 for the Lamb Cemetery that Robert
was "accidentally beheaded at the Dacus Cotton
Gin owned by his father-in-law near Lorado-Finch,
Greene Co., AR. It is possible that he has a
tombstone that has fallen and covered up with
several inches of dirt. There are still more
tombstones that remain covered with dirt as we
were only able to uncover 5 or 6 tombstones
during the one day that we had to work in the
cemetery. My great grand father." (See AR:CEM 1s.)
