Since the Pascal Dacus line is collateral (I am John A. Dacus), I have recorded little about more recent generations, from about 1900. I am not aware of any member of the Dacus family in the direct line of Pascal Dacus that has been designated "patriot." There is a Dacus who is so recorded, but he is a brother (i.e., an uncle) to the John Dacus line.: Records are available in DAR papers (#152079) and Revolutionary War Pension papers. He had applied for a pension prior to his death. Son, W.T. applied for the pension and included pages from the family Bible as supporting evidence.
