Thank you for the information on Pascal Dacus, it seems there are a lot of us. My mother was a Dacus, Freda Bernice Dacus, born October 11, 1913, Jonesbora, Ark, Died October 9, 1984, Portland, Or. She was the daughter of Herdle and Silvie Dacus. Herdle was the son of William Thomas Dacus and Ella Pearl Clark Lashley.
