My wife is a Dacus (Sheryl D. Dacus.) She was born and lived in Dacusville, S.C. Her parents, Prue Milton and Vera Elaine Friddle Dacus lived on the property that was part of the original settlment of that area. There is a Dacus family reunion on July 26 at Robinson Field in Dacusville. The field is adjacent to the Dacus farm. Mrs Lois Dacus Elmore is co-ordinating the day and I am sure she would enjoy meeting other members of the Dacus family.
