Mary Smyth), John W. Dacus Sr. b. 1720 VA.; John W. Jr., b. Abt. 1755 Va., Thomas Dacus, Paschal Dacus, P.H.C. (Patrick) Dacus to Kate Dacus m. J.A. MORELAND. FamilySearch (LDS) shows William DICUS m. 21 Dec 1710 to Mary Smith in St. Paul's Parish, Kent Co., Maryland. It also shows a William Dicus b. ca 1686 Kent County, Maryland. Are William Dicus and William Dacus one and the same person? Both married a Mary Smith/Smyth and were born in not too different years. Was William from England or Maryland to Virginia? Thanks for any enlightenment any one can share.
