Hello Henry,

Yes, I am 99% sure that we come from Staffordshire/Midlands. As you have been told, there is such a concentration of Dace's in this area that it would be difficult to argue that we came from any other place.

I have seen maps of Cheslyn Hay (Staffs) that has a road on it called Dace's Lot which leads me to believe that the family had been there for some years. The road is now called The Lot.
