Hello Linda,
Are you still researching the Dabneys? I hope so. I also descend from William Dabney and Philadelphia Gwathmey but I have different information showing that that the William Dabney who married Philadelphia Gwathmey was actually the son of Lucy Winston Dabney (later Coles) and Cornelius Dabney, the son of James Dabney who married Ann Sherwood(?). James Dabney was the son of Cornelius Dabney and Edeyth (sp?) Morison (sp?).
I am really interested in learning about any and all information you might have concerning the children of Cornelius and Sarah Jennings Dabney. What documentation do you have or where can I find the documentation for the children of Cornelius and Sarah and their children, etc.? The information I have just does not correspond with the dates for Cornelius and Sarah's children. They are a half generation earlier or so it seems to me (this is really confusing!).
