In 1986, Arden H. Brame, Jr. wrote an article about the English ancestry of Cornelius Dabney (1631-1693/4) of Virginia in which he points out that Mary Dabney may have married John Brim on 15 Nov 1674 in Middlesex co., VA. I do not have the address Mr. Brame but if I were you, I would certainly try to locate him. The journal in which the article I refer to is: The Colonial Genealogist, Issue 46, page 172....this may also be found under the title of Augustan Omnibus.
