I descend from Cornelius Dabney who lived in Hanover County, Virginia and who married Mary Shrewsberry. The family moved to Bedford County, Virginia where Cornelius died in the 1790's.

They had sons named Charles and George as well as several daughters including Mary who married Mordecai McClain.

George was a soldier in the Revolution and eventually moves to Wayne County, Kentucky.

Obviously, this Cornelius must be connected to the original immigrant. Does anyone know how he connected?

Thanks.
