I wish to correspond with others interested in the two families of John Quarles Dabney. His first marriage was to Mildred Haden in Campbell co., VA and they had three children:
John Haden Dabney (m Eliz. Anderson), William Dabney and an unnamed daughter. John Quarles Dabney was married secondly to Sarah Belle Hartman 27 Jun 1818 in Fayette co., KY. They raised a family of six: Jane Quarles Dabney (m Charles Henry Innis Harris Nov 1852 in Franklin co., KY), Lucy Ann Dabney (m Benjamin Hoyle 6 Apr 1840 in Franklin co., KY), Lafayette W. Dabney (m Mildred Robinson 9 Mar 1854 in Daviess co., KY), Roger Quarles Dabney (m Sarah P. Quarles 1 Jan 1856 in Pike co., IL), Lucinda Dabney (m J.L. Bennett) and Francis M. Dabney (m1 Mary Tweedie and m2 Mary A. Gorton). John Quarles Dabney, a soldier in the Revolution, died 7 Jun 1833 in Scott co., KY from cholera. I will be most willing to correspond with others also interested in this family.
