I too am looking for the parents of Cornelius. I am desended from George's dau Rhoda Dabney. I believe Cornelius' wife was Mary(Molly) Lane. He had a sister Elizabeth who married Samuel Shrewsberry in Hanover county, VA later moving to Bedford county.
George moved to Wayne county, KY abt 1812 and settled on the east side of Poplar mountain (now a part of Clinton county). His children:Mary "Polly" b.1793 married George Swope. Rhoda b.1807 married William Russell(my line). Elizabeth married Anderson Summers. Robert A. moved to Morgan county, TN. William J. b.1811 became a lawyer and practiced in Clinton county, KY for several years before moving to Indiana. Let me know if you find anything about the parents of Cornelius.
