I have been looking for the names of the parents of Nathan or Nathaniel Dabney, b. 1765 in Lynchburg, Va. He married Jane or Jenny Younger on Dec. 21, 1789 in Bedford Co. Va One of their children was my great-grandfather Buford Dabney,born Bedford Co in aug. 1799. I also noticed a follow-up from Sharon Dietrich saying she had a copy of The Dabneys of Virginia. There was a John Dabney who married Anna Harris and served in the Rev. War. A distant relative of mine thinks that he may be the father of our ancestor. Any info that you may have about this would be greatly appreciated!!
