I descend from John Dabney, son of Cornelius Dabney, who married Anne Harris ( b. 1724 and was dau of Mourning Glenn d.1776/Robert Harris b. 1695 d. 1785).
John Dabney/Anne Harris had daughter Anne Dabney who married Henry (Harry) Terrell of Kent Co.,Va.( - son of Joel Terrell/Sarah Elizabeth Oxford). At least 3 of Anne Dabney/Harry Terrell's sons came to Al. - two of them as territorial judges to Marion and Tuscaloosa Counties.
Can anyone tell me more about John Dabney/Ann Harris's family. Or, about Cornelius Dabney's parents, siblings, or children?
Does anyone know a connection between the Tatom (Tatum) family of Va.-NC and this Dabney family?
