I am looking for information on Cornelius Dabeny and his connection to a Thomas Gooch who was his overseer for his lands in Louisa County, VA. I believe there to be some family connection. Thomas Gooch was born in the mid-1700s and it is said he married Lucy Higgins. The Dabney family connection may come through the Higgins family too. Any help will be appreciated.
