I have just found information from a Bible Record of John Crutchfield b. Feb. 17, 1748 VA; d. Apr. 3, 1811 Green Co., GA; m. Mary Barrett 1st and m. 1806 Jane W. Jelks GA 2nd. There were several children of the 1st marriage,but my line comes from the 2nd marriage. Children: i. Ezra Crutchfield b.1807 GA ;d. 1816 ii. James Dabney Crutchfield, b. 1809 GA; d.1820 MS iii. Martha Anderson Crutchfield, b. Mar. 4, 1810 GA; d. 1877 Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. The record also stated that John Crutchfield's parents were John Crutchfield, d. just before John Crutchfield, JR was born and his mother Elizabeth Dabney, who died when John was an infant and said to be the daughter of George Dabney of the County of King William. Do you have any information on this? I would appreciate any that you might have. Gladys
