I keep ending up with Cornelius Dabney, who is also a relative. However, I have a Mary Elizabeth Dabney, born 1660 in New Kent Cty VA, marrying Capt. Thomas Pettus Jr. Mary Elizabeth's father is a George Dabney, born abour 1634 in New Kent Cty VA. He married Elizabeth ____ in 1656. This is before Cornelius and his clan.
Question: Who is he and who are his parents, presumably the first of their family over here? The ship name?
