My Carr family ancestors married into the Cornelius Dabney family.
Cornelius DABNEY was born about 1659, Eng. or France; died 1694 He married Susan (maiden name not identified). Their oldest son was Cornelius Dabney Jr. married Sarah Jennings in 1721. (No other info on Sarah).
Other children of Cornelius, Sr.: John (died 7 April 1688); George; James; Sarah Elizabeth (died 4 April 1688); and my family....
Mary DABNEY, born 27 Jan 1688 in VA; married in 1704 in King & Queen Co., VA to Major Thomas CARR. Mary died 7 Sep 1748, Toppng Castle, Caroline Co. VA

Cornelius Dabney, Sr.'s parents were:
Theodore D'Aubigne (born 1609, Rochelle, France) and Susanna Anderson

This information came to me from a family member who was a school teacher in Oregon.
He is now deceased. The information was compiled before the days of computers, copy machines.
