Annette, there was Elizabeth Jane Dabney, b. 12 Jan 1824 in Kentucky, the daughter of Jubal Dabney who was my GG Grandfather's (Buford Dabney) brother. The parents of Buford and Jubal were Nathan Dabney and Jenny Younger who went from Virginia around 1808 to Wayne Co. Ky. From there the family moved to Macon Co., Mo then on to Texas the summer of 1854. There was another brother, Nathan Dabney, Jr, who m Kaziah Ellis that came to Texas also, but I don't have a list of their children. I have much info on this branch of the Dabneys if you are interested.
