Was just looking around and came across this forum. I've found that a D` Aubignee (it gives several spellings)is listed in Huguenot Society-----a Maddox of Virginia being/was the Society member. I have also found a Judge Dabney (Huguenot), who I am awaiting more info on. William of Orange used refugees from France/Spainish Netherlands, ect. to stop James at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690. They were awarded with land in Virginia, specifically Manikintown. Not very helpful to you, but you may want to check it out.
