Matthew Pate married a Miss Dabney in Bedford Co Va or Hanover Co Va. The Pates and Dabneys had business transactions and land adjoining in Bedford Co. Can any one help with the name of Miss Dabney or her parents. Matthew died in 1808 and she in not listed in the division of the estate, so she died before 1808.
