I am sorry, but I can only give data on the following who had any connection to my direct line : 1. GEORGE DABBS who who owned land (1749) where the PeeDee River and Thompsons Creek intersected in presentday S.C., which is just outside Cheraw, S.C. In 1749, this was considered part of Anson Co., N.C. I believe he went back to Virginia. Some think he was the brother of NATHANIEL DABBS who died in Union Co., S.C. in 1800. 2. Son of my g.g.grandfather, DAVID SYDNEY and ELIZA WEBB DABBS, GEORGE BROWN DABBS, b. 21 Feb. 1840; d. insane (due to fighting in the Civil War) at the Insane Asylum, Raleigh, N.C., 1 November 1874.The next two entries are from the book, DABBS FAMILY GENEALOGY, USA, by Jack Autrey Dabbs (now deceased). 3. "GEORGE M. DABBS. married MARY CLARK. Son: THOMAS M. DABBS (B. 1859)." 4. "GEORGE MARION DABBS, born 27 May 1866, died 2 May, 1923. Son of THOMAS PATRICK DABBS and LOUISA JANE HASTY. Married (1) ANNIE E. HASTY 9 December 1889. Children: NELLIE MAY and EULA CATHERINE. (2) ADDIE BOWMAN FUNDERBURK. Children: ROY L. and an infant, born 14 April 1910." 5. "GEORGE MARTIN DABBS, born 30 September 1875. Died 30 August 1876. Son of HENRY CLAY DABBS and LETHA JANE MARTIN." There are no others who have an "M." for a middle name or initial. I hope this will help you in some way. Sincerely, Bobbie
