Mr. Norman,

The Sarah Alice Dabbs Woods sounds familiar. I am familiar with the Sarah Dabbs that was married to Robert Lee dabbs of Munford, but they divorced because of consumption presumably or because he a was dirt poor farmer. He had eight children by her. I have written a novel about that time period, but it is in its last editing phase, but a contract has been signed. The book was broken into two pieces for publication. The first segment only has a brief visit by Sarah just being neighborly, but even in the second book it recognizes her consumption and moving away from the children.

Are you by the way, from Pell City? Might have seen you in one of our last Dabbs reunions.
