Does anyone know who the parents are of DAVID SYDNEY DABBS, b. 21 April 1812, N.C.; d. 8 Feb. 1880, Morven, N.C. He and his wife, ELIZA WEBB (b. 11 Mar. 1816; d. 22 June 1881), lived in Anson County, N.C. Morven, N.C., is closeby the PeeDee River. (These are my great-great grandparents.)
ELIZA WEBB was the daughter of JOHN WEBB and his wife, ELIZABETH HUNTLEY. ELIZABETH HUNTLEY'S 1st husband was ELIJAH FAULKNER, with whom she had some children, before he died. Then she married JOHN WEBB, son of THEODORICK WEBB (Rev. Soldier), with whom she had children other than ELIZA.
ELIZABETH HUNTLEY'S father was ROBERT HUNTLEY, son of THOMAS.

JONATHAN J.* DABBS - b. 27 Nov. 1834; md. JANE KNOTTS; wounded in Civil War.
ROBERT HUNTLEY DABBS - b. 23 Aug. 1836; died in Civil War, 29 May 1863.
DAVID SYDNEY DABBS, JR. - b. 15 Aug. 1838 ; killed at Gettysburg, 1 July 1863.
GEORGE BROWN DABBS - b. 21 Feb. 1840; died insane at the N.C. State Mental Institution in Raleigh, as result of Civil War, 1 Nov. 1874.
WILLIAM HENRY DABBS - b. 6 Oct. 1841; md. SUSAN ELLEN LILES of Lilesville, N.C.; wounded at Malvern Hill in Civil War. (These are my great grandparents. I have their children's names, etc.)
HAMPTON A. DABBS - b. 17 April 1843; killed in Civil War, 20 July 1862.
ELIJAH VINCENT (VEE) DABBS -
b. 2 Feb. 1845; wounded in Civil War;
d. 24 Aug. 1915.
SOPHRONIA E. DABBS - b. 10 Nov. 1846
ELIZA MELISSA DABBS - b. 27 Sept. 1848; md. BENJAMIN LILES; had 8 children:
JAMES, SALLIE LILES, DAISY LILES, BESSIE LILES, THOMAS GUTHERIE LILES, T. BERRY LILES, DAVID SYDNEY LILES, & EUGENIA LILES.
LYDIA C. DABBS - b. 12 Jan. 1850; d. 30 June 1917.
EUGENIA E. DABBS - b. 12 Jan. 1851; d. 19 June 1862.
SARAH (SALLY) E. DABBS - b. 9 Apr. 1854; d. 9 June 1862.
JACQUELINE T. B. DABBS - b. 25 Mar. 1856; d. 28 Nov. 1916; md. CHARLES JARMAN of Polkton, N.C.
FRANCES (FANNIE) ENERTINE WEBB DABBS - b. 25 Aug. 1860; md. Francis Hildreath.
DAVID SYDNEY DABBS has been said to have a brother, THOMAS PATRICK DABBS (b. 10 July 1825 S.C.; d. 14 Jan. 1886; supposed to have supported the Union during the Civil War.) who md. VENILID JANE HANEY.
