Hi, James - When I contacted you last I mentioned an article about JOHN DABBS from Maryland, but I don't believe I asked if you had read it or if you have it. The name of the article is: "ANICAKE (HANSON) (ELENA) (MacKENNY) DABB OF KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND, 1652 - 1674", by George Ely Russell, C.G., found in THE AMERICAN GENEALOGIST, WHOLE NUMBER 215, JULY 1978, VOLUME 54, NO. 3. This is about a wonderful Swedish lady who overcame so many hardships. Her last husband was JOHN DABBS. He had previously been married to NAN EVANS/EATES/EADES/EARES; and their children. They only had one son, JOHN DABBS, that was mentioned. I have another article that mentions DABBS in Maryland and Delaware. It is 'THE JACKSONS TRAVEL A TWO-WAY ROAD BETWEEN MARYLAND AND DELAWARE", by Evelyn Jackson Tubbs Metzler, found in THE MARYLAND AND DELAWARE GENEALOGIST, VOLUME XVIII, NO. 4, OCT. 1977. This article mentions a BENJAMIN DABBS' will. If you do not have copies of these articles, I will send you copies by snail mail. Just send me your address. I have just recently bought a scanner, but I have not learned to use it yet. If it had not been for some unforseen events happening, I would have already been up at our home at Beech Mountain, N.C. If you can't get back to me before June 19, my address there is: 313 Mariah Circle, G-24; Beech Mountain, N.C. 28604. I am going to place a query about some of my family in another message. Hope you have a wonderful summer. Sincerely, Bobbie Williamson-Dabbs Ledbetter
