Hello Bobbie,

Just wanted to make a note here. Wasn't part of Tennessee created from parts of North Carolina? Tennessee was formed around 1794 or somewhere close to that date. So our relatives that lived in TN could have originally gone to NC from VA and then their area of NC turned in the state of TN? Has anyone looked for records of their relatives in archives of North Carolina for their TN ancestors?
