My Dabbs connection is through Rev. Richard Dabbs, Jr.'s daughter, Mary B., who married her first cousin, Tazewell. They married in Davidson Co. TN in 1828 but went back to Charlotte Co. VA. Sometime before 1850 Wilson Co. TN census the Tazewell Dabbs family moved from VA to TN.
I am searching for my gr gr grandfather George M. Dabbs, son of Tazwell and Mary, and grandson of Rev. Richard, who disappeared after the 1860 DeKalb Co. TN census. . It has been suggested that I look in KY for him and I am wondering if he "may" have gone to KY where his Uncle James R. lived. Any clue will be welcome.
