Lucy is the daughter of Rev Richard Dabbs and Elizabeth Mitchell. I think that she could very well be their eldest child. Her sister Julia married a second time to John Willis. The family probably moved to TN when Rev Richard established the First Baptist Church of Nashville. It seems that all moved to TN with their father even the married one.
If you will seek my name on this message board, it will take you to the others on the message boards who have worked and searched this family and have contributed a lot of info on this family.
I would be happy to share what I have with you about them. It really is on the board. I have shared what I have located right here on the Dabbs board. It is such fun getting together with all the Dabbs searchers and throwing out there all different kinds of info and questions.
If I find any more on Lucy, I will be happy to share with you. But my main line is Lucy's brother Thomas C Dabbs. He is my great-great-grandfather and he died in 1839 in TX.
