Thanks Chris for getting back to my query. Most of that citation is incorrect.............
Ann Dabbs did not marry Mayo
Anne Lee, wife of Joseph Lee who died in 1790 is the "Anne" referred to. One needs only to check the LWT of Joseph Lee
Charles Lee did not have a daughter Heziah or Keziah. Keziah (m. William Cox) was daughter of Joseph Lee who named her in his LWT. Charles Lee also gave a special legacy to her but she was not his daughter.
So........in essence........ Anne Dabbs did have a brother Joseph Dabbs. She did marry Charles Lee and Anne was alive in 1793 when Charles Lee wrote his LWT. She received "land over the ridge path", his son Charles to have that land upon paying the price.
Joseph Lee had a wife, Anne - and she married Zephaniah Harris after Joseph's death in 1790.
