I am looking for information Irene or May Irene Dabbs. She died in 1936.She was born in 1899 and her parents were Jesse Pleasant Dabbs and Fannie Rebecca ELlison Dabbs. Some siblings of her's were Gussie (married a Jacobs), Flora, Ellerbe (the only male sibling) Pearl, and Litha. She was married to Jerred Menton Roberts. They had a son, Joseph Roberts born in 1933, who was later orphaned when she died. She had other children listed on the 1930 Census, Jesse, Frank, Jerry Jr. Jerry or Jerred (the father) was born about 06/27/1878 and died about 07/29/1952. They were in Richland County. I have found May I Dabbs death listing but am having trouble tracking down anything earlier then Jesse and Fannie. I would also like to know about the Roberts side and cannot find any leads to Jerred's line. It does however state in the census that they were both born in SC and both sets of parents were born in SC. I also suspect that May Irene is buried in the Spears Creek Baptist Cemetery, as I have found her parents in a listing there, along with an unmarked stone (how sad). Any info on this Dabbs line would be greatly appreciated.
